Case-by-case: psoriasis

Module summary
GPSI in dermatology Dr Liz Ogden presents a variety of dermatology cases, with recommendations for management.
Learning objectives

Using five different case presentations, this module will update you on:

  • Investigating guttate psoriasis
  • What lifestyle factors are an important risk factor for palmoplantar pustulosis
  • Differentiating scalp psoriasis from seborrhoeic eczema of the scalp
  • Treating flexural psoriasis

Within the module you will be presented with five cases, followed by an open-ended question, which will ask you to write down how you would approach the case at a given point. You will then be presented with advice from the author, allowing you to compare your approach to that of a specialist in the field.

There is no post-module assessment. Instead, you will be invited to reflect on the cases and your current practice.
